Many years ago, I painted one of my most popular paintings, ‘Midnight Jungle’, which captured a dreamlike jungle under a starry sky. Midnight Jungle was painted to transport its spectator to a lush world, away from a human footprint, surrounded by lush leaves, beautiful creatures and sparkling water. 'Red Ibis' is inspired very much by that painting. A dreamlike world in which one can stare into and escape the day-to-day.
This edition is limited to 150 giclee prints worldwide.
Each is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity and is printed on Canson Aquarelle Rag 310gsm paper.
